About us
An Afghan firm doing institutional work
Ragheb Mustafa is an Afghan consultancy covering legal advice, finance and tax, governance, institutional systems, court representation and training. Our clients are banks, NGOs and development partners, government bodies, companies, investors and private individuals.nnOur two licensed attorneys are running about fifteen court cases for private clients alongside the firm’s institutional work. Where a client also runs a company, and the matter concerns the person rather than the business, we keep the two files apart.

How we work
The Ragheb Mustafa Consulting Framework
Eight stages, ending when your staff can run the system without us.
-
Understand
Clarify the objectives, the context, the people involved and the scope.
-
Assess
Review the legal, financial, governance and operational systems already in place.
-
Analyse
Identify the gaps, the risks and what needs fixing first.
-
Design
Draft the policies, legal documents, financial systems or governance solutions.
-
Validate
Take the recommendations back to leadership and the people they affect.
-
Implement
Support the rollout, the coordination and the problems that surface.
-
Strengthen
Embed the controls and build the staff capability to run them.
-
Sustain
Hand over the knowledge and set up the monitoring that keeps it working.
Quality and risk
How we protect the work
-
Scope agreed up front
We write down what you will get and to what standard before anyone starts.
-
A second reader
The person who did the work is never the last one to read it.
-
References checked
Legal citations get verified and calculations get redone wherever a document depends on them.
-
Conflicts and confidentiality
We check for conflicts before accepting an engagement, and step aside when the check says to.
